RALWUS & ME: Ode To My Lil' Knockemstiff Honey
55
By: Ralwus & Wayne Brown
This is yet another conversation between me and Charlie Campbell as we continue sitting on the deck and trading stories. Thanks, Charlie…and enjoy!
Now I'll tell you a thing . . .
that radio over there playing
a dirge for a
faded cowboy
a bottle calling
me from
your cooler
over there
we're gettin' close on
to morning now and
i have fulfilled
my lucky years
i hear the phone now;
can't be for me, but
it could be the wife
perhaps to
speak with you Wayne?
i think i would
tear out the heart
of anyone who
would spoil this
moment
special for
an old fukker,
this
god has
given me
now as he pines for
his girl i took
to wife,
and again
as the dark shapes
out there quake
like a black panther
just out of
water
as i rise to
walk, to
piss off this deck
in wonder of
this irony.
Now, I’ll tell ya what I’m thinkin’…
there ain’t too many
like her out there
she lingered only briefly
in my life
hard memories in my skull
a twitch in my jeans
whiffs of her perfume
haunt my mind
legs like ice cream
Toes to tops
wrapped round my back
as if wanting to stay
least for a while
her eyes, tranquil pools
light dancing across their blue
quivering in her presence
unbelieving I was in her bed
feeling unworthy her touch
warmth enveloped my shy lust
creamy soft skin
nurturing my hungry
clay in her hands only to be shaped
longing to be her prince
glass slipper hand
to anchor her to my bed
to my life.
here and gone too soon…
wind dancing round corners
forceful, twisting, turning to calm
calm signaling her departure
calm marking my loss.
i long for her return
to the cool sheets
enveloping me in her wings
just once more
like the last drop of water
the last morsel of bread
i savior her memory as i lie alone.
she was my lil’ Knockemstiff Honey…

This is just...HOT and COOL and wonderful. Thanks, you two!
It's amazing what sitting out on a deck could conjure up, it's great to just let the mind wander into the moment and it flows like a cool bubbling brook over the rocks. Watch it twist and turn and meander along under the sun. Nice hub, I enjoyed it.
This is made with real butter, boys - smooth and creamy ~ Laura
New to me...I get tied up and miss things from time to time, remember?
Yall is just getting crazy with this one...been nipping on that moonshine lemonade again ain'tcha.
And by the way WB, do ya think lalesu would let me tie her up for an afternoon. What do ya think?
LOL

Hey! Hey! Hey! I'm right here! I can see this, you know! Haha!
I've already informed Blake that I'm gonna have to hurt you both...gonna hurt y'all worse than it will me, I'm afraid. haha!
Oh! if I have to go to the trouble I'm gonna leave marks, lol!
Glad we can have fun with this. Y'all are a bunch of characters, for certain!
Wow, I expected a diddy in which you would have to get your shots before you read it kind of hub. A mellow recollection of a lil’ Knockemstiff Honey. Awesome!
Not sure if I "get" this one. Legs like ice cream? Was there a prequel? or should I ask?
Maybe some things are better left alone!
Thank the Gods. Finally WB, I find a hub that not only calmed my mind, but got that Quick Draw image out of my head...hopefully permanently. I suggest you go thank your lil’ Knockemstiff Honey, and kiss her booty sweetly. Because she is your good luck charm. And aparently she doesn't even wear pants....Lots of love, and I really do like the writing style of this Hub. It is shorter in form and style than you usually write poetics with. Plus you actually had to make up a word to describe this girl, that says a lot about a woman. The only women I have ever made up words to describe, well, lets just say...those words are not legally publishable on a fine upstanding website such as Hubpages. Thank goodness for Penthouse forums...LMAO
Knock boots WB. Keep on Hubbing. Blake4d
I just happened to 'tumble' over this when rollin' along the prairie. You gotta 'nother honey, Wayne? This ain't gonna set too well with Ol' Calamity. I won't tell her, though. Wherever your journeys take you, whether to Knockemstiff or Hooter's Valley, you be safe now -- and don't forgit to buckle up!
Great hub!

Good job Wayne, now you must read my new one about you, on my profile, a new hub.
